He still writes code himself, which sets Forest Road apart from traditional holding companies. His background in digital assets goes back to the early days of Bitcoin. Forest Road runs with a small team and uses AI and automation to operate efficiently. Stefan is also the founder and CEO of ForYouGaming Inc.

The role

Forest Road Capital is hiring a Game Manager for one of its portfolio companies, which runs online multiplayer games with an active player base. You get full ownership of one or more titles and you are accountable for how they perform, commercially and operationally.

This is not a coordination role. You decide what your game needs next, back it up with data and make it happen with the team.

What you will do

  • Own the numbers: revenue, DAU, WAU, MAU, ARPU, ARPPU, conversion and retention
  • Dig into game and player data and find where the next growth comes from
  • Improve monetisation and player engagement
  • Plan in-game events, promotions, campaigns and updates
  • Work closely with developers, marketing and operations
  • Spot problems early and come with a solution, not just the problem
  • Report on performance and progress every week
  • Take responsibility for the overall health and growth of your game(s)

Who you are

  • Commercially minded. You know what makes players pay and come back
  • Data-driven. You are at home in dashboards and use numbers to make decisions
  • Proactive. You act without waiting to be told
  • Experience with online, free-to-play or multiplayer games is a strong plus

The role

Forest Road Capital is hiring a Trust & Safety Moderator for one of its portfolio companies, an online marketplace operating in the Netherlands. You help keep the platform safe, reliable and compliant by reviewing profiles and user-generated content and acting on what you find.

Fluent Dutch is a strict requirement. The platform, user profiles, reports and communication are primarily in Dutch.

What you will do

  • Review and approve new and updated user profiles
  • Check profile photos, descriptions and submitted content against the platform guidelines
  • Handle user reports and complaints
  • Identify suspicious, misleading, duplicate or non-compliant profiles
  • Detect potential fraud, abuse and policy violations
  • Carry out basic verification and compliance checks
  • Take the right moderation action and escalate complex or sensitive cases
  • Document your decisions clearly
  • Help improve our internal moderation and compliance procedures
  • Protect the overall quality and integrity of the marketplace

Requirements

  • Fluent Dutch, spoken and written (mandatory)
  • Good written English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, discreet and able to work independently
  • Able to make consistent decisions based on internal policies
  • 18 or older and comfortable reviewing user-generated content, including adult-oriented profiles and material
  • Experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, marketplaces, compliance or customer support is a plus

About the role

One of our online communities for adults (18+) in the Netherlands. We are looking for a freelance moderator who wants to take ownership of the forum and help it grow.

What you will do

Keep the forum active, start and guide discussions, welcome new members, and make sure everyone sticks to the community rules.

A fixed fee per month. It takes only a few hours per month and you work remotely, whenever it suits you.
